SKYTRAC/Latitude is seeking a Program Manager at our Kelowna, BC headquarters. The Program Manager is a critical role in managing the delivery of SKYTRAC’s leading-edge satellite communications, aviation data monitoring and avionics systems to key customers and projects.

The Program Manager acts as the primary customer interface for coordinating the implementation of new programs. Working closely with the engineering, sales, and management teams, the Program Manager applies project management best practices to ensure the on time, on budget delivery of solutions to our customers – from generating requirements through to final customer sign-off. 

• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful execution of customer contracts
• Provide ongoing management of schedule, budget and deliverables
• Act as the voice of the customer through scoping and requirements development
• Manage program risks and communicate progress, milestones, and quality issues as appropriate to management
• Work with technical teams to identify and solve complex technical and/or programmatic problems within schedule, budget and resource constraints
• Prioritize issue backlog and client support requests
• Provide technical sales support and act as a key point of contact to customers on complex installs
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the industry, competitive landscape and future market directions

·         10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a similar management role

·         Relevant degree (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering), strong background in Aviation or past equivalent Program/Project Management experience.

·         Strong communication skills, demonstrated leadership qualities 

·         A strong leader with good, communication and interpersonal skills

·         Tenacious in meeting project objectives and goals in a fast changing environment.

·         Knowledgeable in the field of aviation with the ability to interact at a technical level with software and hardware designers.
